A gift to aspiring artists, the Art and Education collection funds scholarships to study under a singular, inspiring mentor.

Timothy Hawkesworth, an Irish-born immigrant, leads workshops in the Philadelphia and Boston markets, as well as on a pastoral paradise in Northeast Pennsylvania. His work graces private collections and galleries around the world. 

More than any other instructor, Hawkesworth put Helen Lavelle face-to-face with her own existence. Others on their own paths toward creative enlightenment may now seek the same experience. 

A portion of the proceeds from the Art and Education collection ensures more students, especially those who otherwise couldn’t go, find the solitude, inspiration and understanding they’ve been searching for.
